The first of its kind in the nation for Tribal Housing, I-Sah’-Din’-Dii’ incorporates sustainable design, site, and green building practices for the Mescalero Apache Housing Authority. This project features sustainable material selections, and cultural amenities designed into each home. By implementing a Tribal Workforce Participation Program and maximizing efficiency with subcontract partners, Pavilion was successful in delivering an affordable and sustainable community to the Mescalero Apache Tribal Members. The reservation, located in the treed mountains just south of Ruidoso, communicates a direct connection to nature.
